People say auto websites don’t attract many women visitors, could it be that the ladies are less interested in leering at scantily-clad “ambassadors” of motor shows than men? We wonder….
Anyway, these videos might just be what the doctor ordered for the ladies, and we reckon for all motor sport fans as well. Not only is Patrick “McDreamy” Dempsey an award-winning actor, he’s also a professional race car driver, and a real gem of an ambassador for Porsche.
In his fourth attempt at the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race, he fulfilled his dream of reaching the podium by finishing second in the GTE AM class (for Grand Tourisme Endurance Amateur), along with co-drivers Patrick Long and Marco Seefried in a 911 RSR.
From the ecstatic celebration and tears that followed after the checkered flag fell, it would appear that Dempsey prefers racing than acting, he certainly looked happier than when he won his first Emmy. I guess that’s what finishing at Le Mans means, especially when it’s a place on the podium.
